Dolphin Tunes
Sep 17,2013 Written by  Melody Lemond
Published in New Poem Shapes

Their is music of the ocean for those who would listen.

~
my
dash
to the waves
is slowed by a song
whose timbre and tone
resonate with my own
curvy light body
they bid me
come play
join
in
~
i
sit
upon
a rock
watching
these dolphins
splash as children
playing as they cast
flecks of sea foam
against the sky:
a net of joy
tossed
for
all
to see
and to feel
and to latch onto
as they whispering intone
wonders beyond all secret veils
